Comp II blog

I am going to be researching how our genetic coding can or can not play a role in alcohol addiction. I think it would be interesting to know if there was something wrong with me genetically, and that was why when I drank I could not stop. I mean it could all boil down to that I am weak and I made a bad choice. I know now that I should never of picked up a drink. You know they say hind sight is always 20/20 and I believe that now. I am just not sure how to write a good thesis sentence so I am going to do some research on that and try to come up with one. I want to thank everyone for their feedback it is truly appreciated.

    Deborah,

    I was having trouble with the same thing when I had picked my topic. What you want to try and do for your thesis statement is to think of something controversial about your subject, because our assignment is to write about a controversial health topic. A thesis statement introduces the reader to what you are going to talk about, and I think that would be a good start for you. Let me know how you are doing with your thesis statement and your research!
